Available Services:

  • Cancer screening: cervical (PAP test), colorectal (FIT stool test), breast (mammogram), and prostate (PSA blood test)
  • Support during diagnosis and treatment
  • Information on financial assistance during treatment
  • Family support
  • Smoking cessation programs

We are here to assist with any concerns or questions. Feel free to stop by Room A123 for pamphlets or to ask a question.

Cancer Support Group Meetings
The Cancer Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM on the second floor of Kateri Memorial Hospital. These meetings are open to all. The group, a grassroots initiative that began in the 90s, is currently run by community members with the support of Elaine Kezar, RN.

We offer a safe, non-judgmental space where people can share their experiences and listen to others.
