Cancer Support Services
KMHC provides Cancer Support Services for clients and their families. According to the World Health Organization, 30-50% of all cancers are preventable.
Available Services:
- Cancer screening: cervical (PAP test), colorectal (FIT stool test), breast (mammogram), and prostate (PSA blood test)
- Support during diagnosis and treatment
- Information on financial assistance during treatment
- Family support
- Smoking cessation programs

Cancer Support Group Meetings
The Cancer Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 PM on the second floor of Kateri Memorial Hospital. These meetings are open to all. The group, a grassroots initiative that began in the 90s, is currently run by community members with the support of Elaine Kezar.
We offer a safe, non-judgmental space where people can share their experiences and listen to others.
