Food Services provide high quality and nutritious meals and snacks to KMHC residents and staff. Homestyle recipes are prepared daily, on site, using fresh ingredients. The menu features traditional foods, as well as community favourites. Personalized nutritional care is provided to the residents, ensuring that meals meet each person’s particular need based on their health condition and personal preferences. Food Service dietitians collaborate with Outpatient and Community Care to act as a nutrition resource for the community. Healthy eating is promoted through health and nutrition events, cooking workshops, presentations, and nutrition classes and activities in the schools.
