Outpatient Clinic Mental Health Service
The Outpatient Clinic Mental Health Service at KMHC provides comprehensive mental health care to the community. Our team includes a full-time Mental Health Nurse, a part-time psychiatrist, Family Medicine Doctors, wellness nurses, a nutritionist, and various specialists. Additionally, two Home and Community Care Mental Health Nurses bridge the gap between clinic-based care and community support. We work closely with local pharmacies to ensure smooth management of medications.
We are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming space for individuals facing mental health challenges. As part of our comprehensive and long-term primary care, we have built a strong collaboration with KMHC’s Traditional Medicine Program, often integrating referrals into care plans. Our mental health services focus on supporting and respecting the unique journeys of each patient.
Our Services Include:
- Mental Health Guided Self-Care
- Mental Health Counseling
- Referrals to our psychiatrist
- Support for specific mental health challenges such as:
- Substance use recovery
- ADHD assessment and treatment
- Suicide prevention
- Gender diversity support
- Persistent and severe mental illness
