Position

Wellness Promotion Worker

Indeterminate (Permanent) Part-Time (21 hours per week)

Job Summary

The Child Injury Prevention Worker works under the supervision of the Community Health Unit Manager with the support of a Community Health Nurse. The Child Injury Prevention Worker will develop and implement culturally relevant safety awareness campaigns directed to children 0-16 years. She/He will help to develop a comprehensive strategic plan in the areas outlined that addresses the needs of Kahnawake population in the areas of prevention or promotion.

Requirements

Diploma in Human Relations or related field or Certificate/DEC in related field with three (3) to five (5) years of job-related experience or High School Diploma with five (5) years of job-related work experience and/or training may be considered.

Salary

In accordance with the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) reference Code 2368, Group 208:

$26.63 to $34.45 per hour, depending on experience
