Announcing KMHC’s Red Flag Initiative

(30, Tsothohrkó:wa/January 2025) Tehsakotitsén:tha Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) wishes to introduce the Red Flag Initiative to clients, in order to help reduce medication errors.

When you see a red flag raised on a nurse’s medication cart, please avoid interrupting unless it’s an emergency. This simple step helps our nurses stay focused while preparing medications, ensuring they are given safely. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out to the PABs or ward clerk.

Thank you/ Niá:wen for helping us keep everyone safe and providing the best care possible!
