(Kahnawake – 10, Seskehkó:wa/September 2024) Angus L. Montour, Electoral Officer for the upcoming election for two (2) Community Representatives on the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre Board of Directors, wishes to remind the community that the election will take place for on Wednesday, 11 Seskehkó:wa/September 2024 from 4pm to 6pm at the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre main lobby (clinic entrance). The nominees are as follows:
- Clinton Phillips (nominated by Anna Mae Rice, seconded by Trudy Thomas)
- Bronson Cross (nominated by Michael Rice, seconded by Shatekaronhiase Cross)
- Lynda Delisle (nominated by Lisa Deer, seconded by Janice Jacobs)
- Cheryl Lahache (Nominated by Dale Beauchamp, seconded by Jeffrey Lahache)
These two seats are for full three-year terms that will expire in Seskehkó:wa/September 2027.
Please note that, in the matter of the by-election to fill the Community Representative seat left vacant upon Frank McComber’s resignation, Wendy Skye was ELECTED BY ACCLAMATION on August 21, 2024. The mandate for this seat will expire in September 2025.
