(Kahnawake – 11, Tsothóhrha/December 2024) The Access Clinic is a service at Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) that has been created in an effort to meet the needs of KMHC clients who are presently not registered to a Family Doctor, or whose Family Doctor is off work for more than three weeks.
Access Clinic appointments are not for urgent matters but, rather, are for patients who require follow up for their medical issues. This is an interdisciplinary service staffed with a nurse, a rotating team of physicians, medical trainees, and other professionals.
KMHC clients can request an appointment by calling the KMHC front desk at (450) 638-3930 extension 1. They will be transferred to the Access Line.
Please note that urgent/semi-urgent matters SHOULD NOT be tasked to the Access team, as the service was not created to accommodate clients who require same-day care. Those with urgent or semi-urgent issues can call the KMHC Front Desk or go to their nearest walk-in clinic or emergency room.
