KMHC Thanks Community for Successful Blood Donor Clinic

For Immediate Release

(Kahnawake – 9, Kentenha/October 2024) Tehsakotitsén:tha Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre wishes to thank all of those who helped make yesterday’s Hema-Québec Blood Donor Clinic a great success. This includes all of the volunteers, the Kateri Memorial Foundation, K1037 Radio, the staff and management of Mohawk Super Bingo Hall, Hema-Québec staff & volunteers and – of course – those who came out to donate.

We are pleased to announce that yesterday’s event surpassed Hema-Québec’s stated goal of 75 pints of blood!

“This being our first-ever blood donor clinic, we have to be pleased at how smoothly everything went,” stated KMHC Executive Director Valerie Diabo. “It is a testament to the generosity of Kahnawa’kehro:non, and several people from our neighboring communities, who took time from their busy lives to donate ‘the gift of life.’”
