If you have any inquiries regarding your rights as a user of the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre services, or if you believe that your rights have not been upheld, we encourage you to reach out for support. You can contact the Kateri Memorial Ierihwahserón:nis/Ombudsperson, who is available to help in addressing your concerns, or provide support in the development of a letter of complaint to their office.

Upon receiving your written complaint, the Kateri Memoria Ierihwahserón:nis/Ombudsperson, will acknowledge its receipt within five (5) working days. If deemed necessary, an investigation will be initiated with the department director involved. The Kateri Memorial Ierihwahserón:nis/Ombudsperson will then provide a written response to you in 45 days.

If you remain unsatisfied with the outcome, you retain the right to request a review by the Review Committee. An appeal must be based on the response not being structured or carried out as established by the Examination of Complaints Policy and the appeal is not a review of the issues in the original letter of complaint.
